Where Would You Live?

Summertime! It is fully upon us and has us all here at Finnell Lee Homes dreaming about where we would love to spend some of our free time. At a recent team meeting we posed the question, “if you could have a second home ANYWHERE in the world, where would it be?”

Here are our answers:

Kristi: If I bought a second home, it would be in Highlands, North Carolina. The mountains are gorgeous, and it is where I married my husband Will, so it is special to us.

Heather: If I could have a second home anywhere, I would have an apartment in Amsterdam. The entire city looks like a postcard, you can bike anywhere, everyone speaks English, (which is key because I definitely don’t speak Dutch!), you are mere hours from other European cities, it stays light late in the summer, and the people-watching is amazing! I look forward to winning the lottery some day and inviting all our friends to visit us in our fabulous Amsterdam apartment.

Eva: Virginia Beach’s Chicks Beach would be a great escape — close to family, salty air, early morning beach walks, and access to services, retail and great seafood. The home doesn’t have to be big, but it would certainly have a revolving door for guests – beach chairs and sunsets provided!

Kelly: Kiawah Island. It offers a perfect blend of activities with its beach, golf, tennis, and proximity to Charleston. The dining and shopping options add to the appeal, making it a well-rounded and easily accessible destination from Washington DC.

Anne-Marie: If I could have a second home anywhere in the world it would without a doubt be somewhere on the Jersey Shore. Yes, you read that correctly. It may not be the most glamorous destination in the world, but every time I set foot there, it feels like home.
